They collaborate with scientists to create data activities featuring real data and the stories behind the science. Data Nuggets are freely available and beloved by educators in grades K-16. Digital Data Nuggets are freely available on DataClassroom.
Consilience is a non-profit, global education innovation company that supports institutions and educators to transform teaching and learning. They provide leadership training and professional development in the areas of Innovation Leadership, Technology Integration, Maker Learning, and Learning Analytics.
The mission of the Jefferson Scholars Foundation is to serve the University of Virginia by identifying and attracting individuals who possess the highest concomitant qualities of leadership, scholarship, and citizenship. DataClassroom was launched with support from the Jefferson Scholars Foundation’s Exploratory Fund to cofounder and Jefferson Fellow, Aaron Reedy.
The Catalyst accelerator program is a multi-stakeholder initiative, thanks to funding from a range of public and private organizations: GO Virginia, Batten Institute, Charlottesville Economic Development, and UVA Economic Development. This collaboration leverages the resources to support high-potential startups and trigger positive impacts upon the community-at-large.
